Father of Huang Yueying and old neighbor of Zhuge Xuan. He has a good relationship with the Zhuge family. He came to help Zhuge Xuan when he noticed Jia Xu's carriage and crowd outside, but accidentally got his neck tangled in a rope held by Jia Xu's men. He is sharp-tongued and scolded both Zhuge Xuan and Jia Xu's men. He was initially happy for Zhuge Xuan leaving Liu Biao but was concerned upon hearing Jia Xu's name.
