Ji Qingyang's mother. Her father was a mathematics professor at Jiangcheng University who was sent to a local farm for having studied abroad. She was Ji Dashan's high school classmate. She is a victim of domestic abuse, with a bruised swollen face and arms covered in bloody welts and hideous scars. She gave up her job to Ji Dashan's younger brother. She refused to divorce due to threats involving her father's letters with friends abroad.
