Male, the Prince of Yan, the greatest antagonist in the original story. Extremely handsome with extraordinary bone structure, phoenix eyes, and a tear mole at the corner of his eye. He suffers from a human skin mask to conceal his identity. He has Hysterical Disorder that flares up periodically. He will later overthrow the Great Xia Dynasty, march from Yan Territory to the capital, bury 100,000 prisoners alive, slaughter hundreds of thousands of innocent people, kill over a dozen of his own brothers, murder his father and mother, ascend the throne with bloodstained hands, and die suddenly three years after his coronation. He was found injured with sword wounds in the snow by Liu Zhiheng, lost his memory after hitting his head, and initially acts erratically—first trying to strangle Liu Zhiheng, then becoming a fearful, whimpering figure who calls her sister and later asks if she is his wife.
