Antagonist, the son of Wang Chuntao and a xiucai scholar who recently passed the county examination. He is cowardly, cruel, and abusive toward Lin Xiazhi. He participated in the attempt to poison Lin Xiazhi with Soul-Severing Soup. His knees were shattered by Lin Xiazhi and he was covered in human waste. He is described as a wastrel and is the betrothed husband of Lin Xiazhi according to the marriage contract.
