The translation is so BAD, it's not as bad a MTL, but still so annoying.
I look up the review in many other site and conclude that this is a decent light story with shit Ending.
Is this a good read or ok
One of the only novels that I read form beginning to end in one single session. I almost died.
I remember reading this MTL (Machine Translation) version a few years ago, and it was decent then. However, the translated version truly enhances the comedic elements! Highly recommended, even for those who aren't basketball enthusiasts. Although some basketball jargon was unfamiliar to me, I thoroughly enjoyed the book!
The famous saying goes, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." However, in a world where magic reigns supreme, it takes on a new meaning: any potent or highly evolved magic appears no less than divine intervention or wrath. Upon reading the one-star reviews, I pondered why I found this story so captivating.
Many critics complain about the lack of a clear plot, but I argue that there is one, albeit buried beneath layers. The protagonist's arrival and acquisition of the 'easy mode' are key points. The mysteries surrounding the MC and the world are numerous, and while he may seem overpowered, the plot largely revolves around his attempts to uncover and foil hidden schemes.
As for the harem aspect, it's not as problematic as some perceive. The MC is aware of the dynamic, but his heart leans towards a single woman. Even she, surprisingly, tries to steer him towards a polyamorous path. The sudden affection from multiple women might seem absurd, but considering he's a 21st-century gentleman in a medieval setting, his values differ, making him a unique catch.
Lastly, the recurring joke about the MC being cursed with an obsession for lolis adds a touch of humor to the story.
The story was highly entertaining at first, but around chapter 100, it started to feel repetitive as they encountered the same antagonist with different designs, constantly foiling his schemes or causing him financial troubles, only to have him escape each time. If not for that, I would have continued reading.
It's not very good, but I recommend it if you don't know what to read.
Umm.. updates?
Why is this not being updated??
Was the story dropped.
