The storyline had potential, but it fell flat for me from the start. The main character, ML, subjected the original fake prince to severe abuse and even rape, ultimately leading to his tragic suicide. It wasn't his fault being kidnapped and made a scapegoat; why subject him to such cruelty? The original prince was a victim on all counts – the true villains should be his overprotective biological parents, who couldn't safeguard him. Additionally, the main character's victim-blaming attitude pushed them further into a negative light, as they seemed to blame the victim.
The repetition of the word "sword" is quite excessive, it's almost comical – like every other sentence, it becomes monotonous. Let's hope the writing improves, as the concept itself isn't bad. I'm currently on chapters 3-4.
I initially found the cross-dressing situation amusing when it first happened, but then realized it would be a recurring theme. It's not terrible, but not exceptional either; it keeps the story light-hearted.
Lastly, my main concern is the author's tendency to repeat themselves. There's a lot of redundancy with words and phrases, which can be tiring to read and causes me to skim through parts. Despite this, the overall humor and intrigue give the book a rating between 4.0 and 4.5 stars.
"Parasite Devourer" is a thought-provoking and engaging novel that explores complex themes in a dystopian world. The story revolves around the intricate dynamics between humans and their parasitic counterparts, challenging societal structures and the boundaries of survival. The title itself suggests a metaphor for the parasitical nature of power and how it can corrupt or consume both individuals and communities.
The author skillfully weaves a narrative that delves into the darker aspects of human nature, as well as the resilience and adaptability of the human spirit. Through its characters, the novel raises questions about class, inequality, and the lengths people will go to maintain control or escape from oppression. It's a cautionary tale that forces readers to confront uncomfortable truths about our own society.
What sets "Parasite Devourer" apart is its ability to blend science fiction with psychological realism, creating a vivid and immersive experience. The pacing is well-crafted, keeping the reader hooked while gradually revealing the deeper layers of the plot. It's a gripping read that leaves readers pondering long after the final pages.
In essence, "Parasite Devourer" is a compelling exploration of the human condition, a chilling reminder of the consequences of unchecked greed and the power of empathy in the face of adversity. It's a novel that not only entertains but also provokes introspection, encouraging us to reflect on our own values and relationships in a rapidly changing world.
Its the best feeling ever when someone just likes all your comments on the chapters. Its as if they are reading the novel just for your comments
Time sure flies without knowing...it's a sad reality.
The summary is not accurate. That is not how she gets the “dad”

What's make the barbarian or pure physical path special? Any spoiler?(Im in chapter 322)
-
Mages focus on the mind or mana which makes them shoot speels
Barbarian focus on the body or physical strengthen which makes them super strong
Warrior focus on both which makes them shoot condensed mana through their techniques and weapons
-
If warriors can also do the barbarian's training then that makes them obsolete?
The dean can shoot mana for several kilometers with his weapon and technique(this makes them comparable to mages),
and warriors can also do the procedure and babarian training(this makes them more stronger than barbarians)
Their barbarian procedure can still be perfected but that only be equal to the warriors procedure
-
It will be awesome if they discover some babarian exclusive technique and became super tanky
Poor hart ????
SHEEEEEEEESH let's go ***
Chinaaaaaa...
