I genuinely attempted to savor this, but I'm struggling. The poor translation is disappointing, but it's the author's lack of writing skills that's truly frustrating. It's disheartening because I can tell the potential for a fantastic world and engaging characters exists, but the narrative gets bogged down by excessive rambling. Conversations that should take mere sentences are stretched into paragraphs without clear purpose. There are chapters where dialogue is practically non-existent, replaced by the author's explanations or characters' internal monologues. Initially, such instances were tolerable, but they persist consistently throughout the book. Reading becomes a chore due to the constant barrage of lengthy explanations, and the subpar translation only exacerbates the issue. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because I believe there's a solid story beneath, but the execution is so flawed, it's a可惜 missed opportunity.
This tale is not for the faint-hearted; the author's storytelling prowess is truly commendable, and the translator deserves credit for unearthing such a captivating piece. It's an intriguing and dark read, delving into horror that resonates more deeply with my personal taste, as it avoids the typical ghostly or supernatural elements.
The novel left me with a complex mix of emotions – a sickening thrill that bordered on satisfaction, and a lingering horror that I can't quite shake. Surprisingly, I wouldn't mind seeing more from the author, despite the intense nature of the story.
While I'm tempted to wholeheartedly recommend it, I must caution against reading this if even the slightest hint of fear, something outside your comfort zone, or outright aversion to such themes bothers you. However, personally, I enjoyed it immensely and am giving it a solid 5-star rating.
Chapter 14, 18, 22, 23, 24, and 46 is still a blank page
its pretty good

I havent read this story yet but I have read a lot of chinese bl novels and I love most of them. The cheating and misunderstanding is something i rarely seen in the story I read and I think most of the chinese novels focus on yandere character? If you want to find good story, you can message me? Idk if you can message here or just leave a reply
up until the last 100 chapters was a very good read, the world felt fleshed out and like the story could go anywhere with more races and territories to explore, and the characters felt enough like people to be likable, but then i guess the author ran out of passion or died and someone else finished it because the last 100 chapters were incredibly rushed and the former plot pacing was thrown out the window and many subplots were left unfinished and the ones that did get finished were finished poorly, i cant recommend anyone read this for the same reason i cant recommend GoT to anyone
Yes Im confused about that too, it made me think that silver and platinum are the same, but I think its silver all along
