updated review as of 1st arc. writing quality is excellent, the author has a unique and engaging writing style. the story development is where this novel shines. At the beginning it is a pendulum that mirrors reality with expectation. the first few chapters show the expectations and grand aspirations of the MC. but then we are reminded of the grim dark reality, and I won't spoil anything but it is very dark and violent. it transitions into the main theme of the novel. developing the character through his failures and advances. the story isnt slow paced, nor super fast, it feels like it hits the perfect in between. the world building is great so far, not an overwhelming amount. just enough to build the world up as the story progresses. the update rate is great, the author clearly has a solid idea of his book and he doesn't skimp on the quality while writing a lot of chapters. I' suck at writing reviews. in essence this novel is a 10/1p of you like grim dark in general, or novels like tyranny of steel.
My father looked at me with a slanted smile and mumbled. "Hah, sucker child."
"Its makes sense," said Mamat.
"Oh okay, thats pretty clear."
"What happened? What was that?" he softly asked his son as he lifted him up and settled him on his lap.
"He seems really nice and I hope he likes all of us; I wonder how he met Luffy though?"
"Wait so this entire area is controlled by the Gremory family!" Xenovia looked on in disbelief at what she was looking at. There must have been millions of buildings that they could see which just seemed to stretch on for miles and miles.
"Plus, Raito-san here is simply just a worker employed by yours truly," added Serenity, "Worshipping him is no different than worshipping a housekeeper or praising the garbage man when he takes out the trash."
"Wahg!" Riolu made the sound of a dog barking as he looked at Ben and wagged his tail.
You'll never know if you don't go
She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb
You're bundled up now, wait till you get older
