Crimnsonsage
The pacing in these chapters is absolutely relentless. We go from a brutal beating scene straight into the Ancestral Hall confinement, straight into Mo Han Zhao's secret visit, straight into the physician scene — and it never feels rushed. How does the author do this? The chapter titles help a lot. 'She Was Like a Frail, Frightened Little Rabbit' sets the tone immediately — we know Yun Mu Jing is vulnerable, and the scene delivers on that promise. Then 'Applying Medicine in the Ancestral Hall' shifts us from public punishment to private intimacy, and the pacing slows down just enough to let us breathe before the next wave of tension hits. What I love is how the author uses physical space to control rhythm. The family confrontation happens in the main hall — loud, crowded, chaotic. The Ancestral Hall scene is quiet, dim, intimate. Mo Han Zhao dropping from the roof tile is almost cinematic — this dark figure appearing like a ghost while Yun Mu Jing is grinding ink. The contrast between the two spaces creates a natural breathing room. The cliffhanger at the end of this batch is perfect. The physician is yanked up to the roof, leaving just Mo Han Zhao and Yun Mu Jing alone. We're left wondering what happens next, and the chapter ends right at the moment of maximum tension. Classic technique, executed flawlessly. I immediately opened the next chapter.
"Zack, close the door, I'll support you." Zack nodded in response he also recruited some of his men to join him.
She started asking questions and he subconsciously started answering.
A silver dagger was caught in between his index and middle finger. He looked at it then back to the girl, who got free from the guards grip.
"Lady, I don't understand..."
"Y-yes!"
"Sanil, don't forget to wrap the presents really good. You don't want the kids to expose the present in it too easily. It would take the fun out of it if it's too loose."
Haoh : Sure... I haven't had the time to pamper you on a date...
He was heart broken, frantically crying.
In the yard of a cozy little house, a young man could be seen tending to his crops. Mirai is crouched over the patch of rotten cabbages and investigating the plants.
However, even we insist that some love should be forbidden,
Surprised at the question, he answered," Not necessarily the entirety. Most of them treated me horribly and I only love my family. If I had a choice, however, I would save them all."
