The idea is well written and formatted. However the story itself is very chaotic. Essentially you announce route 1 then proceed and suddenly you snap over to route 66 instead of route 1. This makes it seem like you're mixing up your stories and makes the storyline very murky. Entertaining but murky.
Even if the slave wanted to remove it there are additional spells that prevent it from being tampered with the only way to remove it was to get an artificer to remove it, but they rarely do anything that isn't in platinum but the demihumans didn't know about this information since it is a closely guarded secret to the upper echelons.
So what's wrong with taking the back streets?
