Really enjoyed this book! Light but oh so sweet and romantic! Very well-written too! Thank you author!
This was very well written. No unnecessary and prolonged details. I think my only wish would be an epilogue that contained some more details wrapping up a few things about what happens in the future. I loved this book. I really did.
liking it?
Only 6 chapters so far but I'm already in love with the story. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves food and good cooking. Add to your library and you will not regret it.

I love this book.
Love this book! So happy to finally see a book about a beautiful melanated Black girl with a great love story that doesn’t include a bunch of struggle love. Love the 4c hair. This book is well written, flows easily and doesn’t has a typos. The bougie part was hilarious. Please let their be a sequel.
Great novel! The horror elements are strong enough to remind me of my haunted house experience, but with a more engaging protagonist. The translation quality is excellent, consistent, and exactly what I expect from LonelyTree Translations.
The first half of the novel is very tense, emotional, and engaging, but the second half began to lose its grip on me as the dynamics between the main characters shifted. It gradually became more and more cliché, with the male lead showering gifts on a seemingly perfect, saint-like female lead. While one could argue that the female lead's character hasn't changed, the absence of the imminent threat of death and suffering made the narrative increasingly flat and uninteresting—for me, at least. It felt as though the characters and their relationship stopped evolving.
To give credit where it's due, the first half is emotionally powerful, and you really feel the gravity of the situation. This initial adventure is almost enough to carry the novel, even if my interest in the direction of the story waned.
I believe the author aimed to craft an impressive and highly intelligent main character but fell short of the necessary skill to achieve this. Instead, the main character spouts incoherent ramblings and clichés, leaving everyone inexplicably impressed and awestruck. I couldn't continue reading; it was just too excruciating.
In essence, it's your typical Japanese-origin OP (Original Protagonist) light novel, more focused on everyday life than action or thrilling adventures. The battle scenes held some promise, but they were executed satisfactorily by the author. On a positive note, the storytelling is consistent and well-edited. If you're looking for a pleasant side read between your primary novels, this would be an excellent choice. It earns a solid three stars, primarily due to the translator's diligent work and promptness.

Warning: Please consider the content warnings before reading this novel.
Review: This novel is extremely dark, bordering on discomfort. With an abundance of abuse and intense darkness, it stands out as one of the most challenging reads due to its graphic nature. The female lead, Dayoung, is deeply depressed and her thoughts veer into disturbing territory. The story contains numerous triggers, so readers should approach it with caution and seek help if needed.
The male lead, while intriguing, displays a well-researched complexity. Overall, the novel packs a powerful punch, exploring the connection between two damaged individuals using their trauma as a means to survive. Compared to Kimpa's other works, this might be their darkest offering yet. However, despite the heavy themes, it's a captivating read for those who can handle it.
Please exercise discretion as the content may not be suitable for everyone. This novel is not appropriate for minors or sensitive readers, as the abuse portrayed is graphic and disturbing.
