I was awoken to silence. Sitting up, I scratched my back. I looked around, I was laying in a sleeping bag in the store, with was now cleaned up. Looking outside, my eyes aren't adjusted to the darkness yet so I could see anything aside from flickers of lights floating around.
I replied, "Hmm. I just hope my current one is okay and safe before considering another one. This little child is formed by our love."
It had already reached the point of the season where all but the most stubborn of trees had lost all their leaves, leaving nothing but bare branches to reach towards the dark night sky.
