This is truly intriguing. The characters up until now haven't received names, only designations like Brother A or Editor B. It's rather unique for a lengthy novel; perhaps it's more common in short stories. The main character exhibits a certain psychopathic nature, which might be unsettling at first, but it becomes apparent gradually. His meticulous planning and deep understanding of human psychology are both impressive and chilling. I find this storytelling approach quite captivating.
Basically "Game Design: Who Rated the Games as Very Easy?", that's just a game theory though.
