just leaving this here because i like the original, but the plot got crazy . i feel like the mc will act the same aswll. hopefully the difference will be noticeable for you to want to rewrite the story.
Great story, sometimes it makes you want more, angry or confuse, but slow update, i hope it can update more frequently so we can enjoy this one

Been simultaneously reading this and the manga version and I can say that its really good, Can’t wait to finish both. The FL is really hard to catch like a slippery fish. I really really like the second lead male. (Yeahh! Second lead syndrome!! I always got these disease) During the pandemic reading light novels became my hobby. My eyes hurt though.
He got us in the second half hahaha

I think it’s more the fact that his demonic powers give him the ability and confidence to be his true self, kind of like how people say money changes you when it’s really just you not giving af now that you got money and can be yourself lol.

Author has solved alot of problems when going into higher cultivation, such as accumulating to much abilities and/or weapons which the protagonist seemingly forgets about 100 chapters after. . lol.
Characters matter and has story behind them, they keep reappearing in the story in a way that is cohesive and makes sense. If new characters, which are tied heavily to Li Qingshan, are introduced, they are not simply thrown out of the window.
World building is excellent, the author makes the world breathe and its genuinely enjoyable.
Author does a great job at keeping Li Qingshan and . . . true to their convictions and goals, which develops naturally through their experiences and major events in the story.
The story is very slow at the start but trust me, it is a SOLID anchor for the future development to the characters, the world, everything.
Read it, you will not be disappointed.

I finally ended... Novel says its ongoing but its ended..
It was the 1st manhwa and then the 1st novel i read. It introduced me to this wonderful fantasy world... Love Martial peak so much. It may be long and plot holes but it will always have a special place in my heart.
