Upon reaching Sunagakure they were briefed on the situation of about what happened. What they didn't know was that Kankuro tried to follow the Akatsuki to get Gaara back only to be easily defeated and poisoned in the process. So they head to the hospital to help Kankuro. Upon their arrival they see Kankuro poisoned along with two elderly people in the room. The old lady of the two saw Kakashi and immediately created a misunderstanding.
