This novel hits hard. It opens with Devon reminiscing about the good old days hammocks, flower beds, and Sophie’s first kiss. It’s this warm, nostalgic setup that contrasts beautifully with the chaos that follows. You nailed the emotional shift, from longing for peace to the brutal reality of what Devon’s facing. The sibling dynamic? Pure gold. Devon and Kisho’s banter felt alive, their bond grounding the chapter with humor before the trial. That ear yank? Chef’s kiss. It’s playful and light, making what happens next hit even harder. Then the trial starts, and it’s a gut punch. Devon’s desperation, his raw anger, and the betrayal he feels from the villagers are so visceral. The way he fakes his way through magic? Genius. You’re rooting for him, even knowing it’s not going to end well. And when the father reveals his true colors? Chilling. His sanctimonious speech, the crowd’s roar, and Devon’s brief triumph with magic all build perfectly to that brutal twist. His death and transformation into the abyss felt like a tidal wave of anger and raw power. Devon’s vow for revenge? Goosebumps.Kisho’s a tsun tsun Brocon, but his relationship with Devon adds so much to the emotional weight. Jideva’s ominous twist at the end seals it. The question of whether Devon will rise above his hatred or become consumed by it is the perfect hook.
A system that isn't isekai! I did not expect that! I wonder what is gonna happen and can poor author it up where water is hard to articulate long term without hitting some sort of dead end. I agree with some of those others where it is creative and fun, but how will Rain evolve as a person in this aquatic world I am giving it ten across the board because they are braver than anything I am to make such a story.
I am not a fan of FLs who act like they are a damsel in distress, could not say No to toxic men and are attracted to them.
good book let the good work continue and update the story as soon as possible
Review as of chapter 40.This is the first time I've read an ongoing novel with less than 200 chapters, just because of how great Elyon's other work is, and so far, most likely due to growing up on Harry Potter. I'm enjoying this even more. Would highly recommend this novel to others.
not bad fanfiction, I would even say good, but as for me, the author needs to devote more time to mc, and although the story is just beginning, our mc has become a force, but compared to creatures in space, he is a weakling and cannon fodder, albeit at a high level. Dear author, please tell us more about magic, etc. Even now it can be compared to the whole universe, but I think magic can surprise and at least give him more opportunities, as well as the fact that he travels through different worlds and universes , as for me, it is necessary to take away interesting forces besides souls , and although I understand which is already very difficult to write at the moment, because our mc is almost omnipotent, but please let him start using the laws more often. Also, please ask the author to come up with a normal name Mc, otherwise void is not very cool for me, but not very much, as a person who reads this with a translation from English to Russian, I say it's a real trifle to come up with a name for a demon. It's also worth giving go more interesting slaves, and as for me, a little more cruelty to him, otherwise sometimes he does shit that makes me want to cry tears of blood. I understand that the author wants to diversify the plot and not make the mc completely cold and aloof From everything , but the mc should not be made stupid. He could have avoided some problems if he had shown great cruelty , but there's nothing to be done about it , so to speak, it 's the author's will , as well as about the gods and I would like you to explain the difference in their powers, Their + and their - as far as I understand, there is an energy of faith and I would see if mc could create faith in himself and become a god? Anyway, I've given the author a couple of ideas here, so let him decide for himself. In general, come out with chapters more often and I'll definitely finish reading the whole top! The author also holds on to good inspiration.
reviewing for the FP, but it is interesting
captivating Dungeons & Dragons fantasy novel, I give it ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ The dialogue is sharp and witty, Themes of loyalty and the struggle between light and darkness resonate throughout, elevating the story beyond mere escapism
Some of ya'll gonna call me a glazer for this, but I think its a great book and has so much potential to go big if it really wanted. The writer obviously isn't perfect and knows there is some stuff, but its really not that bad really. The main character gives off the vibes of like the basic shonen protag like Demon Slayer or that other one with the guy with the scarred wife, but great characters and good dramatic atmosphere which got me going for more! I am gonna keep going forward to see how Mirai grows!
Love the story so far. The story where there are two MCs and they are also twins and I just love the concept of it. I don't know what it is, but just more brotherly bonding with them that makes it good. Love the concept and hope you write more. I also like the fact that they start a children together. Just love the novel so much though. (Rushed review cause I don't feel like spending time on typing a normal one)
So, this novel are really good. The idea are unique. It is like a rebirth type novel but with Santa on it! Also, the author notes are hilarious. Solid 5* from me
The story itself is a good story, overall quality is great, so don't get me wrong with what I'm about to say. The writing style is infuriating. Just to get that "ohh" reaction out of the reader, the author will leave out information that is explained sometimes in the same chapter or even worse just to seem like the MC or sometimes the other points of view are acting. For example if you read chapter 29-37 you will understand what I mean. This style of writing is pervasive throughout the novel. If I wasn't somewhat invested in the story I would have dropped it.
