Starts off simple, with a likeable MC and just enough action and plot to keep me interested to see what happens next. The author takes his time creating the expanding world and is starting to really get the ball rolling in the latest chapters after around 500. The growth of the MC and the other pillar characters are fun to watch unfold and keeps me coming back. Overall, great story with a rich diverse world and enough changing plot points and story archs to keep the readers enthralled with what's going to happen next without being basic and expected. If this ever gets made into a physical book series or graphic novel, it's definitely going up on my top tier bookshelf.

He’s just so stupid in the beginning the things he does are just dumb yet he lives. He made 3 big stupid mistakes in the beginning which should have gotten him killed but due to plot wasn’t. They system is annoying with how much it talks like a normal person. Just garbage
Outstanding translation, really hard to find online. After watching the show I was really desperate to read the book and I have not put it down since I found it. I’m counting the minutes for the daily updates. Ning Yi and Feng Zhiwei are realy complex characters, so is Master Gu whom you start to discover more of as the book develops. I can’t wait to read it all!

But for me personally, I´ve been on this website for around 2 years. I´ve read so many books that most of them seem the same to me.Sadly, this book is no exception. Because, if you really think about it, all of the popular books on this website all revolve around the premise of an OP MC, a system, basically just nothing unique.Now, the world building, world background and everything is great, but I just can´t enjoy how the story is written, which is the important part of my review.The few books I´ve enjoyed - Age of Adepts, Devil´s Cage, Versatile Mage, Cosmic Professional Gladiator, Soul of NegaryAll of these not only had an overpowered MC, but a well written story. Now, you might say ¨But this story has a really well written MC too!¨But the thing is, in the books I listed, whether it was the author, the writing style, whatever - those caused the development of the story to be far better than this one.Now, I´m not saying the book is bad, I´m just a little tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. To new readers, this book would be a great read and even to some experienced readers this book would still be a great read. But it´s different for me.As always, take my review with a grain of salt. Good book! Novels of this quality are hard to come by! Highly recommend! Just power up trough the soft beginning, it gets much, much better! The other parts of the novel are incredibly good from the start! The grammar, story and worldbuilding are great.
