A very early review and my first so apologies if the review is not helpful.The story has alot of potential i have not seen a concept making players gods who interact and fight each other yet making it original and scratching a ich i never knew i had. The writing quality is good and normally we get a chapter a day or the equivalent of though the background seems similar to The Kings Avatar its nice to have a fresh take of a former kiked out pro going into a new game.The main character appears to be smart and powerful and is the first level 3 player in within his subrace making him very powerful amongst his peers this is fine however novels with just a overpowered main character beating everyone from my experience gets boring quickly. introducing rivels who can fight with him on similar levels would be nice like in The Kings Avatar.Warning beneath has major spoilers for The Kings Avatar which is used as a example to make a point.No matter how good Ye Xiu is in The Kings Avatar he cannot easily face guilds alone and his team does have their own setbacks with losses and with pro players the very top of the game can still fight him on similar levels and every victory is hard fought and we even see his slight decline due to age as his physical body cannot keep up with the hand speed of his youth as at the end his hands carnt even hold up the trophy due to the exhaustion from playing flat out.The novel is excellent and please continue writing as i cannot get enough of this novel just a slight warning that powerful characters are fine and a ex pro playing a game should have a edge but he needs a rival who can make him take some sort of loss this could come from other races gods in the novel or even other subraces gods making him lose followers or a few stats. It is just a friendly reminder that overpowered characters who always win lower the tension in a novel just look at the books for Game of Thrones people are always afraid of the next people to die. Also i dont want another novel especially one as good as this in its early stages to suffer from decline due to this. Of course the game in the novel is currently in Beta and i dont know if a reset will happen once the beta test is finished or if they will just keep the game rolling and i am excited to read more.please continue writing this great novel it has great potential.
I am really interested in reading more of this story, to have an established protaganist is a change from the recent sign up system stories that are currently in vogue right now.

Hehehe imagine being so lonley you need to read harem, jokes aside, i pve never seen a decent harem book in my life and thats saying a lot.
It's entertaining enough to keep my attention. That's all the matters to me. I like these types, where the MC has to accept disciples. There isn't enough to really criticize, the grammar and spelling is fine. Maybe someone could argue you should've expanded on when and how the actual MC took over the body of his predecessor? It just jumped straight into the action, but I actually prefer this over some long info dump at the beginning. Anyways, I look forward to the more.
The opening line of Chapter 1 is one of the best hooks I've read in a while. 'You must not act on impulse. I'm a good person.' She's being held at knifepoint and her first instinct is to negotiate like she's talking to a malfunctioning vending machine. The contrast between the danger and her casual tone immediately tells you: this protagonist is not going to play by normal rules. But the stakes are real. We're not just watching a girl with a plan — we're watching a girl whose plan could collapse at any moment. She has no memories of the original host. She's an unregistered person with no travel permit. She spent a month's worth of money saving the male protagonist and now her pouch is flat. The old physician is already pricing him like a luxury item. And those bandits who just walked through the mass grave? They're not gone. They're somewhere in Shouzhou, and they know someone took a body from their kill zone. The tension in Chapter 2 escalates perfectly. Xue Yao wakes up, disoriented, and the first thing that happens is someone grabs him from behind with a blade at his throat. The reader knows it's Lu Dantao but the character doesn't — and that gap between dramatic irony and immediate danger is where the suspense lives. Every scene in these two chapters operates on at least two levels of threat: the obvious one (bandits, enemies, injury) and the structural one (what if the plot goes wrong, what if she got the analysis essays wrong). The author understands that stakes aren't just about what can be lost — they're about how close the character is to losing everything they've bet on. And Lu Dantao has bet everything on one man who can't even open his eyes yet.
Webnovel, this is one of the few novels i genuinely enjoyed and u pick a garbage old man with garbage side characters that clearly has 125 less fans/supporters than this one. sad, sad, sad. Like i'd rather read this than "New Father: Empress Appearing On My Doorstep With Our Daughters"
Its good book with good plot and characters. Story development is also good just that it is too centered around the mc with evrything too easy for the mc
I really like this novel, have completely read it in raw, It is one of the best beast taming novel that I have ever read. I am completely fan of butterfly fairy and hope that this get piked up soon.
