I'm a lover of Korean rofan novels and manhwa. This book caught my attention because of the villainess trope ?The story flows well from the start. The author wastes no time introducing us with the characters and hooking us with the plots.The story has just started so I don't have much to say. I love FL can rebuild her reputation because of the ogSelena.The brother's and the maids' reactions are a given due to how badly the ogSelena acted before. I'm all in for 'reforming the villainess' stories.One more time, the author's writing is well for non-native English. I believe readers will enjoy both her writing and the storyline she weaves for this story.All the best!
Rating my own novel 5 stars because I'm sure no one's going to rate it 5/5 at least not after reading the initial chapters and here are some things which you should know:-1) This is a non-harem novel 2)The chapter releases will most probably be weekly( rarely daily)3) David Marsh is the MC not Harold Carter.4) This is entirely a fictional story 5) This story will majorly take place in three timelines

Only 3 chapters in and finding it interesting.
This book makes me want to rip my hair out, it was good at the start, but then there is a 12 year time skip. After the skip the story isn’t nearly as entertaining, and the chapters keep repeating and retconning things that just happened. One chapter will end with x character being knocked out in a room. To them have the next start with the same character outside prior to being knocked out except this time they don’t get knocked out. Or they will be going to the capitol for a ball “in a few days” to then not go to the capital right away, and when they get there they go “we have to leave because we don’t want to be near the royal family.” It’s stuff like that, that really kills my enthusiasm for this book. Though Mary is very entertaining.
Just finished reading the available sample chapters which felt too few for properly getting a feel about the series. On that note, not sure whether or not the series is worth unlocking.---Now, for the actual review, it was interesting but didn't seem promising if not disappointing. A easy read, too easy even, with the MC quickly adjusting and getting attached to her newfound family. The family obsessively doting on her which can be nice but also too much. The plot also tends to get dragged out I find like withholding crucial key elements such as the bracelets anomalies which also makes one question the IQ of the characters involved. On top of what seems to be a mix between modern and fantasy elements which I'm not certain was the best idea here.
As an author, I'd just like to just remind you to be careful when using AI with your story. I know it's very tempting, but the reason people read your work is for your own unique, human style. Your writing is obviously partially, if not entirely AI.Now, there's nothing wrong with using AI to help you generate ideas and outline your story, and even help structure your chapters, But please be very careful in using it to write your chapters. Just simply: don't do it.If you can, I recommend writing the whole chapter by yourself (I know it's not easy, it takes me 4 hours to write 1000 words) and then when you feel you can't improve it any more, put your complete chapter into AI and ask it for improvements. (Let AI check your work, not you checking AI's work) From experience, readers have a near unlimited amount of books to read; they want to read a human's hard work (they want you to bleed for them), not a book generated by AI.Anyways, there's a lot I can talk about in terms of plot and story, but I don't think that very suitable right now. (I've already rambled a ton)I don't want to discourage you, I think that writing's an awesome thing to do! That's why I gave 5 stars. In fact, if it wasn't written with AI, I would be ranting about how incredible the writing is. Purely put, the writing is *perfect*, much better than mine! It's at the quality of a top veteran writer, unbelievably perfect, and apart from the plot, has literally nothing to be improved upon. (And obviously, this level of writing is going to turn some heads)Anyways, feel free to delete my review if you don't want it on your book. Don't let me discourage you! Important Announcement!This book had a few months of preparation, and has taken me a lot of time to write, mostly due to editing and rewriting with assistance. I had a decent idea, but I ruined it. Instead of focusing on quality, I decided to chase the daily word count, and it has resulted in this book, I am still proud of it, but I will be lying if I said I lived up to the potential of this book. I have completed Volume 1, and I have even written plans and a few chapters for Volume 2, but to be honest, there will be many more mistakes made, I tried to do too many things, while not focusing on what is truly important. I'm sorry. And thank you for those who stuck with me despite the flaws in the book, I will be posting another book on this platform, but as for Pretending to Be God, it is over, for now at least. I will be open to questions if there are any. And once again, thank you.

The quality of the writing is definitely above average. The world building is simply short of amazing and the characters are very interesting. I just hope the author doesn't slack and keep putting in their best.
