Lin Feilu, or better known by her nickname—Green Tea Princess, was the best of all the scheming b*tches that the world had ever seen. She was the Oscar-winning actress among the masses with real life as her stage. Acting coy, slandering, feigning innocence, or playing the saint, she aced it all. Simply put, she was the proverbial villainess.

Ah, but retribution came way too early for this malicious personage and she died on her 27th birthday.

In death, Lin Feilu reflected on her career of 20 years as the Green Tea Princess. She was full of regret and remorse over the life she once led. She vowed, if there was an afterlife, she would atone for her misdeeds and be a good person.

She transmigrated into a five-year-old princess of the Dalin Dynasty. In the name of family, she had a sickly mother disfavoured by the emperor, a mentally challenged and daft older brother.

Her life was constantly in danger, with having little to eat and trying to stay warm.

The living environment was very harsh.

Lin Feilu, who wanted to be a good person: … You forced me! Sorry, I can only activate my unique skill.

Harem fight? Striving for favor? Climbing the ranks?

Apologies, but let me show you what it means to be slaughtered by a maxed out player.

Note: “Green Tea” is a woman who presents herself as innocent, sweet, and kind but is very scheming and calculative in reality.

This exceptional novel, I'll refrain from divulging more; it combines charm, lightheartedness, dramatic moments, and romantic elements. The characters are expertly crafted, each with depth and nuance. The author skillfully weaves the plot, creating an engaging narrative. True, the main character displays a slightly yandere trait, which can be attributed to his past experiences. However, it's worth reading the original version – though I did Machine Translate it, I wouldn't advise following suit, as the translation might lose some subtleties. The translator, on the other hand, has done a commendable job.

The writing is excellent, and the translation is top-notch as well. My only minor concern would be the slow pace of updates. The story balances well between lighthearted and poignant moments, with a realistic touch. The portrayal of the emperor's harem reflects a deeper dynamic – the women are not solely focused on securing his favor, but rather using it as a means to foster alliances and advance their individual interests. The conflicts among them stem from strategic considerations, not simply jealousy or ill-conceived romance.

This is a captivating and original portrayal of a reformed troublemaker who employs her past skills for a better future, ensuring harmony in her new life and uplifting her adoptive family. It's an enjoyable read for anyone looking for a light-hearted escape, as the storyline is engaging and the relationships between characters are charming, evoking smiles.

So far, so good ?. The distinguishing factor in this transmigration story is the main character's shift in perspective. In her previous life as a villain in modern times, she made a brief decision to start anew upon reincarnation in the past. However, she quickly realized that being good wouldn't cut it in a harem setting. Instead, she chose to adopt a more devious approach, playing the role of a villain to those who deserved it ?.

Firstly, I concur with user Gabi94's opinion. The novel doesn't offer many moments that feel endearing or charming; my expectations were higher based on the summary and previous reviews.

The storyline lacks depth and excitement. It could be a decent choice for light reading to pass the time, but overall, it fails to impress. As for the main character (MC), I find it difficult to empathize with her. She manipulates those around her, and although I understand her actions stem from her desire to protect her family, the author's portrayal doesn't resonate with me.

Additionally, I不喜欢她总是以NPC或游戏角色的角度看待他人。 Regarding the male lead (ML), I am open to dark characters like yandere or psychopaths, but in this case, the author didn't effectively convey how the ML developed those traits. It would have been better if there were subtle hints or clear demonstrations of his character arc during his time in Danlin, rather than making him seem ordinary.

In conclusion, I view the novel as bland, without much fluff or cuteness to it.

What an amazing novel; I just completed the final chapter and am now overwhelmed with emotions. The storyline is delightful and light, and I adore how it revolves around family. Despite taking place in a royal setting, it tugs at my heartstrings. Perhaps the romance felt a bit hurried, but given its concise length, it's easily overlooked. Overall, it's a truly touching read.
