Ezra sold his soul to the Storyteller for a chance to live in a world of magic. And Oberyn? He didn’t ask to fall from the moon - he was cast away, shackled by a destiny he refuses to obey.

A surge of magic is tearing their fantasy world apart - an unstoppable force neither of them can control. But if Ezra and Oberyn want to survive, they’ll have to surrender to something even more dangerous: each other.

First as reluctant allies, then as friends... then as something more.

Ezra is plucky, loving, and full of heart, Oberyn is proud and aloof, single-mindedly pursuing his goals. They couldn’t be more different - until they discover their shared love of fantasy novels.

Fate may have brought them both to a new world, but Control is something neither of them can surrender. Ezra and Oberon must navigate the line between dominance and devotion - because in a world where magic bends to will, control is the only thing keeping them from losing everything.

The only question - who will give in first?

--Excerpt--

"It's a beautiful sky," Ezra remarked, brushing against Oberyn as they stood side by side, staring upward.

"Looking up, I could almost forget I’m in a new world. The sky is just the same as the one on my Earth."

Oberyn didn’t step away. He let himself enjoy the moment.

"I think I’d like to hear about your world, sometime."

Ezra smirked. "Only if you tell me about your moon."

Oberyn’s heart skipped. He’d nearly forgotten telling Ezra that he was from the moon. He was surprised the human even remembered.

Their hands were close enough to touch - to lock fingers if they wanted. Oberyn curled his hand, thinking about the sensation, indulging himself for the shortest of moments before he broke away.

“We’d better get going."

I put this rating because this main character is too stupid. Everything is fine when he grows over time in the game, in training. He may be wrong there, but not in a real situation. Namely, when concluding a contract with a company (chapter 164-165).He is too shocked, has not enough information, has not hired a lawyer, has agreed to a small salary. It made me write this review. It's not 1 star because I don't want to write another one with 5 stars. After all, the author has created an amazing work and this is a fact. So I'm going to read on anyway.

A pure waste of time. 2/3rds of the 20 first chapters are spent on the reactions of some random unnamed characters, the author is so blatant about it that even if the concept is cool he's already managed to run it into the ground.
