This is my very first and favorite light novel, and I absolutely adore the storyline. The pacing is fantastic, and the dynamic duo in the lush green forest has captured my heart. Their love story is simply indescribably beautiful - perhaps it's a testament to fate or destiny. Kaishar's unwavering devotion for their child, Yuder, is truly touching, especially during their time in the Great Sarin Forest. The heat of their vacation added an extra layer of intensity to their moments together.

There were also humorous moments, such as the emperor undergoing rigorous training, and Kanna revealing the truth - like when she disclosed how Commander removed Yuder's glove with his mouth. That scene left me feeling slightly awkward. I'm sure even in the upcoming 1000th chapter, Gakane will eventually uncover the truth. Unfortunately, I've reached a roadblock at chapter 750 due to the Ridibook age verification, and as a broke student, purchasing it on Patreon isn't an option. All I can do now is patiently wait for more chapters to accumulate.

I haven't delved too deep, but the story is indeed engaging with an intriguing plot, plus the fantasy-bl genre appeals to me. However, my main issue is the repetitiveness in the writing. The author constantly repeats information from earlier paragraphs within the same chapter, which feels unnecessary and冗长. It would greatly improve the pacing if these redundant sections were trimmed down – to the point where I find myself skipping over them due to annoyance.

Additionally, I'm unsure if the problem lies with the translation or the original writing itself, but the sentence structure causes a headache for me. The author often employs convoluted phrasing, such as in examples like this:

It's unnecessarily wordy and disrupts the flow. My preference leans towards concise writing, which this doesn't quite provide.

I tried giving it a chance despite positive reviews, but ultimately, the excessive dialogue and inconsistent portrayal of the protagonist Yuder – sometimes portrayed as intelligent, other times seemingly slow – pushed me away. The sentence structure was the main reason I decided to stop reading.

Initially, I thought I couldn't continue, but then I realized my mistake: I was reading on the wrong platform. Once I switched to the correct site, I discovered proper sentence structure, which significantly improved the reading experience. Nevertheless, Yuder's character still irks me.

That kiss, when it finally happened, was quite memorable, though.
