In a world where the power rank and potential of an individual determines their social status, one could only hope for an ability with high potential. There were those who could not awaken an ability and they were called hollow beings. Rodiku, who happens to be an orphan, ended up as a hollow being. Due to how society treated him, he turned into a careless person as he gave up on life. He also never believed in the existence of gods, who according to history were the source of their abilities. He later discovers in school that he had a god in him all along.
