Spring, year 1716 Eveline Adler is the daughter of a wealthy English merchant. Her family moved to the New World, while she stayed in London to finish her studies. After two years separated from her family, she decides to leave and join her loved ones in Charlestown. However, the ship is attacked by pirates, commanded by Captain Arenis, a dangerous woman capable of killing a man with her bare hands. Eveline's destiny changes forever; she plunges into an unfamiliar world so different from the respectable and well-educated environment of English high society. On a pirate ship she cannot escape the hard life of a sailor, the numerous boardings and, above all, she cannot escape Arenis. Eveline embarks on many adventures, but the greatest adventure will be to discover herself and her worth in a world that belongs only to men.
