I've always been drawn to progression fantasy. Yet, I often find myself disappointed by many stories in this genre. Characters frequently fade into irrelevance, story arcs can become monotonously repetitive, and there's a noticeable lack of depth in character ideals. In crafting this tale, my goal is to infuse it with richer character motivations and ideals. I aim to weave these characters throughout the narrative, ensuring their interactions with the protagonist remain meaningful and relevant to his personal journey. Ultimately, I aspire to capture a 'human spirit' in this story, reminiscent of the old-school wuxia and action/adventure tales that resonate deeply with readers.
