Zein was a rogue Guide surviving in the forsaken red-zone, leading others for money and his own survival. His life took a dark turn when a tragedy struck due to the guild he once worked with. Overcome by sorrow and guilt, Zein became a mercenary guide on the edge of the forbidden Deathzone, working as if courting death like a monk seeking enlightenment through suffering. One day, an imposing Esper appeared before him and said, "If you're so eager to die, why don't you come with me into the Deathzone?" A peculiar offer, it brought a nostalgic smirk to Zein's face. Had he met this man before? Following this stranger into the perilous zone, would Zein find the peace he craved, or be swept up in chaos?
