Ezra Bennett is 21 years old and in a band with her best friends in collegel. While mostly everyone only sees her as the weird emo lesbian, Hanna doesn't. Hanna Marin is 19 years old and the daughter of two very famous actors. It's her first year at college and all she wants is a great time and real friends, besides fame. On Hanna's first day she meets Gabe, who soon turns out to be one of her best friends. Through him she meets Ezra. At the start of the semester they have to do a partner project together and immediately hit it off, since they have more in common than they thought. Many obstacles and challenges come their way, but will they make it together or eventually part their ways?
