In-su always felt most at home in fantasy, whether that was through books or games where magic could be wielded by heroes who would always overcome great odds.
But reality was never like the stories until the day he woke up in one.
A blue screen appears out of nowhere corresponding to his status and referring to him as a “Player”, and proceeds to give him stats along with an SSS-rank skill Reader’s Survival Guide.
Before he even begins to grasp what is happening, the system drags him into the Abyss, a void of twisted nightmares where the weak are consumed and the strong reign. Demons linger in the dark, monsters viciously stalk their prey, death is not a conclusion, it is an instruction.
With no means to escape, In-su is forced to accustom himself to this harsh and game-like world, discover the truth behind the system, and make it out alive while facing the horrors that lie below. But with an ability that passively compels him to experience his death repeatedly, one question always rings.
