A boy with a kind, loving family gets told the story of the Fallen Heroes of the Keira and Lee Empires.
Another boy gets told the same story while living in a shack with his sister, both of which were slaves of a Count.
They boy and his sister escape and are met by Kamari, an angel, who realizes they are the new Slaves of God. As a slave, the boy must purge all non believers of the Lords of Night.
At the same time, the boy with a loving family receives a divine revelation that a disaster is upon the world. Will the boy see the purger or the purged as the one who must be eradicated? Will the boys ever even meet each other?
