Premise:
Jarek Thorn is a simple village troublemaker—lazy, overconfident, and best known for getting into fights he can’t win. When he accidentally bonds with an ancient artifact known as the Heart of Ruin, he becomes the target of powerful factions: the tyrannical Celestial Empire, the underground rebellion, and a secretive group of ancient beings who see him as either their savior or their greatest mistake.
The problem? Jarek has no idea how to use the artifact. In fact, the only thing he’s good at is running his mouth and getting punched in the face. But with assassins, warlords, and even former friends hunting him down, he’s forced into a journey of survival, betrayal, and reluctant heroism.
