"Second Chance at Genesis"

Lina Yates, a former mercenary turned survivor, is given an impossible second chance when she wakes up five years before the apocalypse that destroyed humanity. Having sacrificed her life to stop a world-ending outbreak, Lina now finds herself back in the heart of the corporate world, with one goal in mind: prevent the global catastrophe before it’s too late.

Her path collides with Alexander Reid, the enigmatic and ruthless CEO of a global tech empire. His company secretly funds unethical experiments that lead to the creation of mutated creatures, triggering the outbreak that ravaged humanity. The only problem? Lina knows the future, but Alexander does not. And every time she comes close to uncovering his dark secrets, Alexander seems one step ahead, playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

As Lina infiltrates his empire under the guise of a personal assistant, the stakes rise. She must navigate the tangled web of corporate politics, betrayal, and a growing attraction to the man she swore to expose. But as Lina digs deeper, she uncovers more than just sinister plans—she finds herself entangled in a slow-burn romance with Alexander, a man with his own secrets and a mysterious past.

The clock is ticking. Can Lina stop the apocalypse, expose Alexander’s hidden truth, and save humanity—while keeping her heart intact? Or will their forbidden attraction push them both toward an inevitable, destructive end?

Worst garbage ever written on this site. The author must either have quite a few loose screws on his brain and a huge masochist. The storyline and tragedy level is literally cancer. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger? Would've wished he died and stayed dead in the beginning for this piece of turd work.

Its a really good book, my only problem is that, like most of other harems, any other male is not allowed to be happy, at least in the first half of the book, at least the cousin shouldnt have died and much less, a virgin, it could even be good for the plot that the aunt gave herself to Tian after he rescued Xia Han and in the next book getting him the gf he wanted. But anyhow, I'm still waiting for the next book of Xia Tian

It is Mao Ni so of course it is good. Too bad many idiots just want a nonsense fight every chapter, dick measuring and crippling while boasting and similar lame stuff so the best novels don't get propet attention.

So hard to read. The translator/editor or whoever comments on every other sentence. Half of a chapter is nonsense from them.Only on chapter 2, and this combined with a boring start is making me consider dropping
