This narrative revolves around a hero who, after being betrayed and slain by his own companions, is mysteriously summoned back. As the story unfolds, we discover that 30 years have passed, and the protagonist seeks redemption through vengeance. However, unlike other tales of pure revenge, such as Nidome no Juusha, our hero maintains his sense of self and seems to approach the situation with a more complex mindset, reminiscent of Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. It's important to note that not all comments accurately reflect the content; while revenge does play a role, it's not the central theme. The hero indeed takes decisive action, as per my reading. In summary, this is a compelling story worth giving a chance, but don't come in expecting solely a tale of revenge. And please excuse my imperfect English.

The quality of the translation in Chapter 2 leaves much to be desired. It feels like a poorly edited machine translation, lacking effort and fluency. As for the plot, I'm confused why the king who summoned the main character earlier didn't recognize their appearance when they were summoned again. Initially, I expected a significant time difference between summonings, but according to the MC, it was only a mere three years. The storytelling seems rather disorganized.

I really enjoy the story; it reminds me of Nidome no Yuusha, but I appreciate its slightly quicker pace. I'm cautiously optimistic that it won't become a harem. The heroine is absolutely adorable, and she possesses all the qualities I look for in a perfect waifu. Although I can't provide a detailed review with only seven translated chapters, my instincts tell me it's going to be a delightful tale.

To clarify, I've reached volume 2, possibly chapter 3. Many people compare this to Nidome no Yuusha, which I believe is an unfair comparison. Nidome no Yuusha has its own疯狂元素, whereas this novel leans more towards a lighthearted revenge tale. Some might enjoy that, but for me, it feels a bit too light and lacks depth.

While I don't think it needs to become as chaotic as Nidome No Yuusha, it suffers from a lack of substance. Most plotlines come across as a comedy, with moments where the protagonist talks about violent actions, only to revert back to a comedic tone. I use "comedy" loosely here, as it's rather dry and unoriginal, resembling a collection of clichéd isekai jokes. It's not terrible, but it doesn't stand out either. After a few chapters, you can predict the formula.

I genuinely tried to find something engaging, but alas, nothing really grabbed me. Even the skills, magic, and items are unremarkable. I wouldn't call it a bad read, but giving it a 3/5 feels generous. It's passable if you're looking for a quick read with no other options, but that's about it.

This is one of the most exceptional or the pinnacle light novels I've come across in quite some time. The protagonist is set to become overpowered (OP) with a heartwarming waifu character. What makes this story stand out is its innovative approach to revenge, where two individuals, united by shared grievances, embark on their path. It's a revitalizing narrative that takes readers from the protagonist's tormented beginnings to his transformation as a tormentor. The romantic subplot is well-developed and straightforward, adding an enjoyable touch to the overall experience.

My initial excitement turned into a major letdown as I began reading. I had expected it to be similar to "Nidome no Yuusha," where the protagonist's intense quest for revenge would make for an electrifying story. However, I didn't experience any chills or feel like the main character was losing their mind, which was quite disappointing. The fact that he even spared and was once again deceived by his supposed "friend" only added to my dissatisfaction. In summary, this has been a significant disappointment for me.
