The title "Unparalleled Genius System" seems fitting, but personally, "Unparalleled Idiot System" would better capture its essence. The system, meant to elevate the protagonist to greatness, ultimately turns him into a hypocritical, arrogant, and violent individual. He justifies his wrongdoings with his own twisted sense of justice, blaming society and specific countries like China, Japan, and others – a common theme in many Chinese novels.
The author claims the system grants immense power, altering personality, presence, and even turning the protagonist into a killing machine for 1 million points. However, before acquiring the system, he was a平凡 office worker from a decent university, hardly exceptional. For a normal person to achieve such extraordinary feats – martial arts mastery, scientific inventions, hacking skills, gaming prowess, and business acumen – is highly implausible. Su Li, with her aloof demeanor, wouldn't likely show interest in an average Joe.
The plot lacks coherence; it's unclear what the protagonist truly wants even after multiple readings. The main objective appears to be simple: amass wealth and sleep with women. As for romance, the author drags out a trivial conflict between two supposedly intelligent characters into a drawn-out 200-chapter mess, filled with misunderstandings. The main character's possessiveness and refusal to acknowledge Su Li's feelings create a frustrating dynamic. His actions, including raping her initially and then expecting her to fall in love, make the narrative cringe-worthy. The sudden transformation of Su Li into a devoted wife and the introduction of a secret girlfriend due to parental approval further contribute to the absurdity.
My apologies for the profanity, but this novel leaves much to be desired in terms of logic and storytelling.
