Three months after their marriage, Jian Hang and Qin Moling still slept in separate rooms. This marriage was decided by the Old Master of the Qin family, and Qin Moling had no feelings for her.

In the eyes of outsiders, when Jian Hang who came from an ordinary family married into the Qin family, she was a sparrow who flew up a branch and became a phoenix. Many people were waiting to see her become a joke as the abandoned wife of a wealthy family. But Jian Hang indeed did not lose out on this marriage, and so she decided to live a good life together with Qin Moling.

That night, she took the initiative to find him and talked about a topic that was trending on the Internet.

Qin Moling only gave her a few perfunctory words.

Seeing that he had no interest, Jian Hang got up and went back to her bedroom. After a while, there was a knock on the door.

Jian Hang didn’t open the door and said in a disinterested tone: “If you have anything to say, just say it.”

Qin Moling: “The hot search you’re concerned about was the 22nd earlier, but now it has been promoted to the 2nd and tagged as ‘explosive’.”

Jian Hang: “…”

PS: As the title says, marriage comes first, then love. The male lead goes from never being in love, to having his heart quicken, his desires aroused, to being completely devoted.

……

There’s no real antagonist to speak of, just the story of two hard-headed people trying to get along in a marriage neither of them was keen on—until, of course, everything clicks together.

The female lead is not a wilting damsel-in-distress. She’s also a ‘domineering CEO’ in her own right, kicks business ass, and eats arrogant bosses for breakfast—all done with a gorgeous shade of lipstick.

It seems that the novel begins with a scandal involving a married woman accusing the female main character (fMC) of being unfaithful. Based on this introduction, I can anticipate that the story will involve numerous business competitors or envious rivals trying to tarnish the fMC's reputation, spreading lies, and causing drama.

When the fMC confides in the male protagonist (MC), he reacts impulsively without verifying the truth, urging her to prepare for marriage. This reaction appears to be illogical and supportive without questioning the situation.

Some readers might criticize the author, assuming they are female, and argue that this plot could cater to certain female fantasies or kinks. It's possible that the author intended the story for a female audience, though this assumption should not discourage other readers from enjoying the narrative.

A rewrite in English would be:

"The story kicks off with a married woman's slanderous claim about the fMC's fidelity, setting the stage for a tale filled with rivalries and attempts to undermine her. When the fMC shares this turmoil with the MC, instead of investigating, he leaps to conclusions and pushes for marriage. Critics might speculate that the author, possibly a woman, has crafted a plot catering to specific reader preferences, though it's important to remember that everyone enjoys different stories."
