Lu Chen transmigrated to the Great Xia Dynasty, becoming the ninth prince of the imperial family.

Unlike the usual transmigrators in novels, Lu Chen neither possessed extensive scientific knowledge nor memorized countless ancient poems.

To avoid getting entangled in the battle for the throne, Lu Chen decided to take it easy and live a life of luxury and comfort.

Due to his mother’s status, he was eventually granted a royal marriage by the emperor and was sent to govern the harsh northern lands as a prince.

Just when Lu Chen thought he would spend his life in decadence, he unexpectedly activated a system on his wedding night.

As long as he fathered a child, he would receive rewards and even increase his own strength.

Years later…

Lu Chen marched into the capital with an army of a million, leaving everyone in shock.

"Wasn't this guy just a useless prince? Where did he get a million-strong army?"

"What the hell? He’s actually a Grandmaster?"

"So the Ninth Prince was just pretending to be a slacker all along!"

this author is the type to love an op mc but this time he's kinda overdone it. the mc is directly related to powerful women who end up falling in love with him.it's not bad but it is overdone. for all 180 chapters it has almst  all been about the mc's development giving off the vibe that the author is setting up a very big stage for later on in the story. whether the author can handle the expectations remains to be seen. on tthe other hand, if the harem is gonna start let it  start with the mc's mother and sister. overall, a story with with a lot of potential

The start was not that bad honestly. translation quality wise there are some errors there and there but it is still readable.I can honestly also get behind that the main female is brain dead and falls deep in love with MC for absolutely no reason nor prior contact or before even having spoken a single word to him. However it went downhill when the author keeps forcing that random stone gambling garbage story line there. I am 100% thinking it should not even be a thing. Not only does he keep selecting trash stones each time but the reason he does so is not even properly explained, just half assessed excuses like, does not want to show off.I honeslty hate this type of stuff so much he is actively hiding his skill for no reason at all since we had seen no real consequences, like i wouldn’t mind he did as he is doing now if there are actual consequences shown but there isn’t, because there is a guy clearly known for picking right stones most of the time our of 10 and MC decides he needs to hide his skill and picks 2 with 8 empty stones. It’s honestly the whole story each time, he could have so much benefits showing off his skills but he doesn’t, every encounter there exists for the sole reason of trash talking MC before even knowing, the brain level of villains in this novel is simply in a word : abysmal.I’d rather honestly read about a MC that fights and figure out his own benefits first for doing this or that than one actively hiding his skill and crippling his ability in doing so and again for seemingly no proper reason given.
