The author employs certain writing techniques I dislike, which persist consistently across their work and are common in many Korean novels. They often begin with an intriguing future event, followed by an unresolved central conflict, using these hooks to entice readers through the story. Unfortunately, webnovels, being serialized and reliant on maintaining suspense, often result in authors dragging out the plot indefinitely to keep readers engaged.
This approach often leads to unfinished stories due to burnout or读者流失, completing not because of a satisfying conclusion, but because the financial incentives diminish. I would advise caution when starting this novel – especially considering it's ongoing. Even if the translator catches up, the unresolved plotlines might still frustrate.
As of around Chapter 100, my prediction holds true. Misunderstandings and lack of communication drive the narrative, with the female leads taking on more central roles. The original plot catalyst remains unaddressed, with intermittent hints to keep readers hopeful for resolution. Consequently, I can only give it a 2 out of 5 rating.
