Babel Tower, a mysterious organization, suddenly appeared in front of the world. In the name of saving the world, they studied mutation technology and dealt with all kinds of terrifying natural disasters. They forcefully controlled Knights, Psychics, Witches and other big shots to join their organization and become operators.

“Everything is under the Savior’s control.”

“I’m the Queen of the Vampires, I won’t kneel before you! Damn it! I can’t control my body!”

“Please, let me rest. I don’t want to go on another mission.”

Everyone believed that the mysterious leader behind the Babel Tower, the Savior, was definitely the force of God.

After hearing this, I panicked.

Pretty good, with a strong main character, an engaging plot, and a mysterious backstory. The supporting characters are all interesting, and none of them are annoying.

Romance: None, but two female characters have a crush on the main character. Hopefully, this doesn’t turn into a harem situation.

I dropped it because I got bored.

You should try reading this if you have the time. The story isn’t too heavy, but it’s not as light as many Japanese web novels where the plot feels rushed or overly simplified.

The tags don’t lie; if something feels off after you read, it’s probably intentional.

The character development is quite interesting.

**Spoiler:**
- There’s no harem tag, but many of the main character’s pawns are female.
- Even after 200 chapters, no one knows the main character’s real identity.
- The character development for the pawns is really good. Is it because there’s no harem tag? Lol.
- It’s not guaranteed whether it will turn into a harem after chapter 200 or something else, but it’s still really worth reading.

Take it with a grain of salt.

I rarely write reviews, but I genuinely want to give this spectacular novel the attention it deserves.

The story's power system, plots, and mysteries remind me a lot of *Lord of the Mysteries*. The characters and cast are diverse, although I'll be honest—they can be annoying at times, like the mind-reader girl.

What I enjoy the most are the mysteries. It's refreshing to see a main character who doesn't let the plot constantly misrepresent him. Instead, he actively creates misunderstandings for his own benefit.

, it's a pretty good novel with a solid plot. I would actually rate this higher than most mainstream novels. It feels like an unrefined gem in a trashcan full of bad novels.

Edit:

I don't know what Fluffums is talking about; most of the time, the events are clearly explained.

**Spoiler**

Mu Ling gets her identity exposed because the blur filter isn't some overpowered blur that exists in reality. It only works on digital cameras and similar devices, not obscuring her physical appearance. She had multiple encounters with the "police" of this world, and her skills were known to them beforehand, as she came from a well-known superpowered family that once saved the world.

Regarding the "functional insanity," it wasn't just thrown in randomly. There was clear buildup, including the MC's friend reminiscing about the past, the MC discovering his "actual" nature as someone with psychopathic tendencies, and how he didn't see people as human after investigating his past and his awakening. Even the meeting with his "other self" showed how he was reverting to his true nature.

I could elaborate on how he viewed others as "lower" than him due to his belief in reincarnation, but that's a whole different point.

The outer god argument makes sense, but you should consider it from the MC's perspective. It's not that the outer god intervened because he noticed; rather, the MC's presence subtly altered the timeline, changing the course of major events.

Additionally, the MC didn't heavily rely on past playthroughs. He mentions early on that in-game events were often randomly generated, so he only used his past experiences when recognizing specific quests.

What loopholes?

The Library of Ruina part was indeed overpowered, but the MC's friend didn't use it because he didn't know about it.

Bruh, what "insta-kill" weapon? My memory is bad, so I might be wrong here.

Certainly! Here’s the rewritten content:

An intriguing novel, no doubt about it. The plot is uniquely crafted, allowing us to uncover mysteries alongside the protagonist as he discovers them himself, though we occasionally receive an additional clue or two.

Bai Yan starts as a transmigrator from Earth into a parallel modern world where the supernatural exists. Initially, he is relatively stable and somewhat nihilistic, but as the story progresses, he undergoes a significant mental transformation. His desire to see those he deems evil suffer intensifies over time, and his scope of violent thoughts expands.

At the beginning, the only indication of this change is the man at the DHA, Lin Bian, who disapproves of Bai Yan because he "smells of madness." Later, Bai Yan himself realizes that his thoughts are becoming more abnormal.

By the chapter I last read, there’s a suggestion that Bai Yan may have traveled back in time after failing to achieve something, though he doesn’t recall it.

So far, the gradual psychological changes in the "operators" are well-paced and add a dynamic element to the story, making it engaging as he tries to keep them pleased and maintain their positive moods.
