Li Xuanxin transmigrated to an alternate dimension where demons and monsters roamed and dominated the world. He became a little monk at the Lin Tai Temple. He awakened the Golden Lotus of Chaos, by spending merit points, he could directly raise the level of his cultivation method.
[Spent one million merit points, the Unmoving Acalanatha Method has been raised to max level 108, completed]
[Spend 1.2 million merit points, the Unmoving Acalanatha Curse has been raised to max level 108, completed]

The Buddha said that when your merits see no limits, your cultivation will see no limits!
A thousand years later, when Li Xuanxin looked at all three realism with his Buddhist eye, he couldn’t help but sigh.
“Tathagata, you have committed the sin of hate!”

The MC is an extremely handsome monk, from this, you can roughly guess where the story is heading. After he saved a female ghost from committing evil, the female ghost asked if she could hug him before going into reincarnation since she's never seen such a handsome man(monk) before, and yes, the MC allowed it. He's stayed in the temple for 5 years, yet he doesn't know many basic things, well, let's guess his IQ level. Overall, this story is upper-trash or lower-average level quality with an okay concept but trash plot.

Despite the shallowness of the story and characters, I Became The Supreme Being Of The Buddhist Sect is a fairly enjoyable casual read.

This is my first time coming across a "merit system" so it does feel rather novel (for now at least). The quality of the translation is good, no issues with it so far although the random Buddhist chants just feel like gibberish. I'm sure they mean something, but I wouldn't know.

Overall an average (but fairly well executed) novel. 3/5.

This author has a natural talent in producing garbage. All of their books have weak premises, but even fall short on doing said weak premises justice.

I really enjoy Buddhist stories they are so versatile and yet not so different from expectation. It's really too bad the other login Buddha novel is no longer updating that was really good too.

If you like Buddha's Palm but want more actual buddhist you'll like this novel. So far a great read and setting up an interesting future-------------------

Whoever likes Sign-In Buddha's Palm, vote for this! This is a great, and for-reals low-key OP MC. Although not as low-key as Buddha's Palm, so far there are no signs of the MC exposing himself, or the frustrating 'hinting that the OP guy is actually me.'
