I am a Good Man

Currently on Arc 8.

To be honest, I enjoyed how most of the arcs began (I've been machine-translating them). As a QT story, they follow a fairly standard format—typically, a guy transitions from one world to another, often taking on the role of someone who has either intentionally or unintentionally caused significant harm to others.

There isn't much interaction with the System, but that's okay. My main issue, however, is the length of the arcs. They all seem quite long and sometimes feel drawn out. I ended up skipping the endings of a few arcs.

I absolutely love this novel and I don't regret translating it at all. Among the male versions of QT novels, this one is definitely my favorite. The love stories are incredibly passionate, and the main character truly demonstrates his love through actions, not just by being a passive guardian who receives missions. I highly recommend this!

There are both good and bad arcs in this novel. Upon finishing it, I was left wondering, "What's the point?" The main character is a ghost devoid of emotion, and he appropriates the original soul's emotions as if they were his own. It would have been more meaningful if the main character in every story was reborn instead.

The story’s beginning or plot is not compelling enough and feels too bland. Additionally, there isn’t enough romantic depth. While there are plenty of sweet moments, they aren’t profound enough. The pacing is too quick, and some arcs are not interesting. The story is often predictable, following similar plots from other novels. Most of the narrative revolves around an evil person causing problems in past lives, which is rather dull. The conflicts, while not necessarily tragic or dramatic, are not very engaging to read.

She possesses a good reputation, beauty, and every opportunity to succeed, but according to the author’s plan, she inexplicably starts sleeping around, particularly with "fat middle-aged men." This pattern repeats across the novel, where female antagonists consistently act similarly.

You’d think achieving your goal and maintaining a normal relationship would be enough, but no—these characters deliberately sabotage their own success by engaging in affairs, often with older, less desirable partners, just to give the protagonist the evidence needed to ruin them. As I mentioned, this theme recurs throughout the story. Does any of this make sense?
