Elora, a lady in her early 20s finds herself in the household of a bitter, sad and dictatorial merchant Sir Charles who happens to be a widower having a sore relationship with his eight years old daughter and only child. Her presence as the child's governess brings a change in this bringing the father and daughter closer and healing the wounds caused by the death of his wife.
Elora realises she has fallen in love with her suppose boss but he isn't willing to accept the truth jeopardising her heart and emotions because of his attachment to his late wife.
