Sorren, a Feral Avian, lives with her companions at peace within the safety of her forest, untouched by the raucous Flock Avians of the city far away. The elk speak of a vile distortion of nature, drawing ever closer, while the birds warn her of the arrival of Bain Peregrine, the prince and soon-to-be king of Incitatia. He searches, as each Peregrine must, for a Feral to take as wife to carry on the race. Only the pairing of a Peregrine and Feral can produce a Peregrine offspring. Dual threats clash like opposing winds and Sorren will have to choose carefully to escape the whirlwind of danger alive. This is a different sort of fantasy story and feedback is much appreciated!
