In a world where data is the new currency and corruption is coded into the system, Ethan Cole—a 19-year-old tech savant with a vendetta against predatory corporations—fights to protect the vulnerable from digital wolves. Working at a failing repair shop in Silicon Valley’s shadow, Ethan spends his days salvaging cat photos from cockroach-infested laptops and his nights reverse-engineering malware for pocket change. But when he discovers “Phoenix Fire,” a sophisticated virus destroying data without ransom demands, he uncovers a conspiracy that will forge him into a titan… or destroy him.

I have a divine tree up my ass! That's the only way to describe this novel.Author constantly strokes China's elongated schlongus maximus like it's his life throughout the trail chapters. Apparently it's a whole nationalism novel + savior systemAtleast in Earthlings are Insane, it was more Earth nationalism than Chinese nationalism, which I can bare. MC needs to "contribute" in order to gain potential strength. Yay.This is all just a pain in the ass, hence the first sentence of this review.

Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking at this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, and by considering each and everyone's opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

I've had it with these Chinese nationalist scum. China may or may not be a good country, but some of its people need to be rehabilitated.Sick of this sh*te.

I started reading this book around when it had 50 chapters, it’s been a long time since then and the book has developed a lot, so it’s time I make a review.Note: I’m probably biased due to having emotional attachment to the story at this pointWorld Building: 4/5The world is well crafted, scenes are described expertly and really draws you into the world as if you were there yourself.Characters: 3/5Characters all feel like individuals, at least the ones that matter anyway, there are a few arrogant young masters at the start but I suspect that they will disappear more and more as the mc gets stronger and is meeting older people as the antagonists.Story: 3/5For the most part the story is fairly standard at the start, mc is the weak underdog nobody expects anything from but develops to become a force to be reckoned with over the course of the story, though later on in the story the mc goes on a different than usual path compared to the usual heroics you might be used to.Writing Quality: 4/5The writing is fairly good with few mistakes in spelling or grammar, but nobody is ever perfect especially when English isn’t their first language.Updating Stability: 4/5There were some rougher patches previously but things have settled to usually be 2 chapters each day unless stated otherwise in the discord
