Concubine’s Invitation

Interesting but left a lot to be desired. Inwas intrigued by the synopsis of a psychopathic MC but left with a typical Japanese MC with a slight twist of psycho. Of course, he has a quirk of being overly bashful and shy that is typical of Japanese MCs to the point I just roll my eyes. Before the novel starts to charge for the chapters, the MC leaves someone alive for an unknown reason - which I assume it will be “answered away” later- but I found it to be completely unreasonable and frankly just a way for the author to push the plot forward. Pretty weak, imo.Now that is out of the way, I do like the MC and female lead relationship, especially how he helps her with her problem at home. The comedy is pretty good, the other characters have a lot of potential as well. The story seems to have a lot of depth to it possibly, so that is a plus as well. Overall, enjoyed a lot of the novel but annoyed with some other parts of the novel. The writing quality was decent for the most part but there were times of wrong verb usage, funny sentence structure, etc but it did not cause too much of an issue.

Im still on chap 13 waiting for more chaps to binge this is  fun and great story and the mc feels real and is overall entertaining to read about plot is a 10/10 currently only issue is it feels a little slow paced at first but its  important  to the story overall grammar and writing is great  and the world building will be insane in the future

This is an emotional book. I've never felt so humbled, reading this beautifully written book. The way the author captured the pains and suffering of the ML is spectacular. I hope things turn around for Leon for the better. Marvelous job author.??????????
