Came back here after seeing that a comment of mine from an year ago was getting some activity. It seems that people from an year ago actually had decent taste and knew this novel is mediocre. If you really want to read progressive fantasy with power creep, just read Swallowed Star, which is actually decent. It's honestly surprising seeing people say that they liked the novel, it's like they haven't read anything better.

I was thinking of reading swallowed star but the start was kinda boring. And the mc and his family always laughing for no reason while talking was making think it's a sh*tty novel. Can u tell what's good about it or a brief overview?

Idk, I read it like 3 years ago, so there's bound to be some distortion in how I remember it. I do remember that it was one of the first hardcore webnovels I'd read, and I was really surprised by the uniqueness of it. I think that coupled with how long ago I read it really makes me feel like that was a great novel. However if you don't like it, that's completely fine.
Overview :
Post apocalyptic world where monster are all over the world and humans try to fight it. It's very science fiction. Like imagine a regular cultivation xianxia story and just make it sci-fi. MC is a genius (on earth). Gets good opportunity and it turns out he's only a genius on earth. In the world view of things he's like dime a dozen. A regular problem with these kinda of novels is power creep. Things get scaled up to fast too quick. Half the stuff the MC gets isn't used. However the world building is definitely good. The different worlds part of it was really interesting. That's about it, without spoiling much.

This novel is not even worthy of being called junk food; it's straight trash. It's another reminder of why OP system-type novels are terrible. The main character is stupid, the side characters are dense, the world-building is poor, the pacing is even worse, and the "comedy" isn't funny; it just feels like I'm watching Amy Schumer's horrific stand-up. The glazing on this novel needs to be studied

Sigh I understand what you mean, I tried for a bit on kindle unlimited about 2 months ago they had some decent things but overall it wasn’t for me only dragon heart & the grand game hooked me in, rn i think it’s time I take a break too from this site instead of lowering my standards & causing me stress to find something decent to read

Man this website has no more good stuff left all the good stuff which are some worth reading and has some better writing are all on the "App" (web novel ) and that sh*t say you have to pay after 15 or 30 chapters recently i read some time passing novel where mc has cheat but is not invincible like endless horde or i have infinite money writing was good but i had to give up bcz that app just ask alot of money hope

The novel was good atleast before 1000 chapter.

But it becomes trash after that. Author forgets many things and doesn't write proper story lines and uses the cliches again which he used in previous chapters.

So technically, it was good for the first time but after sometime, it became trash.

I really enjoy this novel, rather slow upload for sure, and other places are way ahead but are extremely differently written. While I wait for this and Primal hunter to progress are there other ones just like this out there? And if so what? Thanks!

it's pretty much the same except the ever so slight differences that make it something else, it feels like it's in the same world too

In my opinion you shouldn't read that trash if you like struggling MC. In that novel the MC is overpowered literally ( from start I also liked it but then after sometime I became bored of repetition).

He just does what he likes and with his overpowered class ignores even gods
