Most of Arlo’s life had been bleak and full of unhappy memories, he struggled everyday to survive, but for what? He had no fixed reason to live but he just did for the sake of it.
Unfortunately or fortunately for him, he was chosen by Makutu. A mysterious entity who gives people powers if they are able to overcome the trial it gives them, or else nothing but death awaits them.
Now chosen by Makutu, will Arlo survive the trial and gain a magical ability or will he be crushed by the sheer difficulty of it. And even if he does, will he be able to survive in a new word, which he knows nothing about?
