It was a gloomy town, sure, but Isaac didn't think much of it. He laughed off the myths, dismissed the graveyard, and pushed away his thoughts of anything supernatural.
He was pretty damn stupid to do that, though.

Even though I am getting serious Charlie Wade vibes I actually like this better. I feel more intrigued Charlie Wade made me squirm the violence is over the top. Here it is there but much more subtle and believable
Wow. I loved the first book but this one is so much drama, I've been through so many emotions reading this book and I'm so excited to go start the second one now. Amazing story
