Alan, now reborn as Noah, has been given a second chance at life in a world brimming with magic and supernatural wonders. But as a helpless baby in this strange new realm, navigating his way through it isn’t as simple—or as fun—as it first seemed.
I'm surprised people haven't left disclaimers on this novel, so I'm doing that. Villian means violent, predatory sadist. Real villian. The violent sadist is super refreshing because he's a villian, but predation makes me uncomfortable. It's a villian novel, the author is transparent, and the story is fun and enjoyable. He did his job well. That's why I'm giving the author high marks despite my viewpoints. Respect.I'm not giving it five stars because the comment culture is disturbing. There's a raging celebration when the mc punches an *innocent* woman. Then they get excited for something far worse.Once again, this is a disclaimer, not a criticism. People deserve to know there's predation and disturbing comment culture that's genuinely excited about it.
