This team-up drama would have been very good if Shuyin wasn't around the corner. Shuyin being near makes it boring. Also, at least with this series, you know GooseFive creates many throwaway trash characters, so you learn that what you are reading is useless filler with no long game or pay off. I never got invested in Chi Bing for example. I'm finally learning to not care.1073. This chapter exposes how stupid this series is. Even if Shuyin, Wan'er, Qu You and a few others get great attention in the final chapters, this will still likely be a failed series that fell apart at the end. and how do these people never know the news of the world? It's already been 10,000 year?" Back then she was actually not in the God Burial Tomb yet either. In the end he became the same heartless cultivator he was always opposed to. There was a part in War Sovereign when a reunion was delayed at the last minute by about 150 chapters. This whole trash series is much worse than that. If these idiots all meet each other at the same time in one big final moment at the series end, then this series should have never existed. Xie Ruoyin? This series is so stupid. Every random person can just pop up as a quasi-sage or God Realm cultivator. If you want random people popping up, and still relevant despite low power, then set it in the urban world like StrongestAbandonedSon. This is just a clownshow.1102. If the author did this insanely stupid stuff once or twice, then it would work. In reality, in these worlds the people generally spend their whole existences in one realm or region, never venturing out or advancing. The people like Mo Wuji who adventure and strive forward endlessly are very special in the setting. To claim that so many people he met were just the same is absurd. There's a reason Empress Wen Lan said he might reach Immortal Emperor in 1000 years, and that's on the basis that he was already heaven-defying. Because Wen Lan knows the setting.1136. A mostly boring last 30 chapters. I like Ji Li, but I can't read all of this crap. More boring stuff with this team-up to face Lou Xu. I don't remember who that is, so I don't care.1140. It is just fate that everyone around him will be massacred then. None of his explanations for anything made sense here.1216. A few of the chapters since 1180 were good.1220 Kun Yun knows his place in the grand hierarchy. He's a person who exists in this setting. Most of the people who interact with Mo Wuji are not people who would actually exist here. Unless the lore can establish why 50 people around Mo Wuji were somehow blessed by him to transcend the setting's limitations, although somehow Kun Yun is exempt perhaps due to his age.1227. I prefer a series has some good times within the series, not just at the end, and basically just implied the good times happen after the novel. All of my favorite series have the MC living happily with his wives at some point.1230. As others have said, it feels like there's a chapter that hasn't been added. GooseFive created many solid characters, but ultimately it's a lot of treasure hunting. There was that one time when Mo Wuji even admitted his whole life was stupid treasure hunting and cultivating, without point or purpose. The clear direction of wanting to rescue Wan'er in the earlier chapters was rarely matched again through out. Rescuing Qingru twice, back on earth, Shuyin dying, and one or two other moments were almost equal to that. He was a mortal who risked everything to save his servant/family member Wan'er, then he became generic cultivator guy.
