In a world of gates and hunters, a set of twins; products of years of research and developments in a hunter training facility (The Cradle) were successful conceived— A masterpiece with the power to become the strongest hunter in history and the other a faliure and liability that was to be disposed of. However, following a certain incident their identities were mixed up.
Twelve Years Later, Arc Stollen, a kind-hearted, cheerful boy who had a dream of becoming the world's greatest hunter but was also deemed the cradle's faliure was scheduled for disposal. However, at the moment of his death, he awakened the overlord system— the power of an evil king 5000 years ago who tried to take over the world. Not just that, he was saved by Ragnarok; a criminal organization who follows the ideals of that same overlord.
At that point, Arc found himself at a crossroad— To try following his dream of becoming a hunter, or cast his old self aside and join Ragnarok.
Explore the story of a kindhearted optimist who has to face the ugliness of the world and lose his light in the process, slowly undergoing a transformation into the world's greatest villain
