Alright, listen up. My name’s Zane, and I may have made a tiny mistake.

One second, I was minding my own business (kinda), and the next, I accepted a trial and crash-landed into a world where demons are real, warlocks have eyes that glow like hellfire, and an army of tattooed, superhuman monster slayers called Shadowhunters have decided I’m their problem now. oh did i mention vampires exist too? No? werewolves? yup they are all in this shit

Apparently, this world is has a minor Demon problem—think apocalypse with legs—and lucky me, I’ve somehow made myself part of the solution. How? By undergoing a batshit crazy ritual where they pump my body full of angel and demon blood and hope I don’t explode.

The downside? I could die a horrible, painful death. The upside? If I survive, I get to be a badass Shadowhunter, gain ungodly strength, and finally stop feeling like an ant in the grand scheme of things. Oh, and did I mention the company? A brooding, ripped Shadowhunter who wants me dead, a lethal beauty who might tolerate me (if I’m lucky), and a certain warlock woman who saved my life but is probably the most dangerous of them all.

So yeah, I’m either about to become this world’s next great warrior and pass this trial and go back to the mess which is my own home world… or its most spectacular failure. Either way, it’s gonna be one hell of a ride.

There is no racism if there are no other countries ... at least at the beginning, there is only Huaxia and/or Chinese civilization ... you read right Chinese civilization, not Earth civilization...

This novel is a lot like SAO. The primary difference is, that in SAO the MC only had a beta play through the first few levels and was trapped in the game as soon as it went online for the masses. The MC here has a complete playthrough and is reincarnated in the game like dungeon defence. What I like about this novel is the proactive MC, that acts instead of reacting. He knows about the problems and goes right to the roots to cut them down and doesn't wait till the sh*t hits the fan. What I don't like is, that in every odd chapter the author has to remind the Reader, that the MC is more feminine and beautiful than the girls in this novel, so he will probably stay single 'till the end (or miraculously reunite with is dead twin sister and f*ck her lights out... no - there's no ****** tag...EDIT: there is an ****** tag on NU - and I only guessed (O.O))

I can't even begin to describe just how much I love this story so far! The MC is so witty and sassy, cool and powerful, but also very carrying and thoughtful. His interactions with his butler are simply a treasure ? I can't get enough of them. I really like the style of this book and it's definitely up my alley. The MC starts with a not so easy life and grows from there. He is also very smart and rational. I actually think it's quite funny and ironic how people call him the Mad Hound when he is one of most rational characters I've encountered ? The grammar and the language usage are very good. The story flows well and it's very enjoyable. I give it top starts both as a reader and as a writer! ? Keep up the good work!
